Gilles Aubry is an artist, musician, and researcher based in Berlin. His practice delves into the multiple dimensions of sound and listening, frequently integrating collaborative and participatory approaches. His body of work spans installations, films, live performances, and compositions, showcased in numerous art exhibitions, including the Marrakech Biennale (2014), documenta 14 in Kassel (2017), and Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid (2020). He holds a PhD in social anthropology from Bern University and teaches sound studies at UDK Berlin. Aubry’s records are available on Adocs, Corvo Records, Winds Measure, Cronica Electronica, Gruenrekorder, Universinternational, and Absinth Records.
